The following describes the Terms of Service (Terms) of Hyphos. By using Hyphos, you are agreeing to be bound by these web site Terms of Service, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you should not use the site. We may choose to revise the Terms of Service at any point, at which point there will be a notice of new Terms. By continuing to use the site you are agreeing to the current Terms of Service and any updates we make.

Hyphos provides users with a variety of resources to facilitate meeting, collaborating and sharing ideas with others in interest groups.

You agree to comply with all applicable domestic and international laws, statutes, ordinances and regulations regarding your use of our platform, including without limitation, your participation in or involvement with any Hyphos Interest Group and your submission of information.

Privacy

Hyphos finds your privacy very important. Our Privacy Policy (https://hyphos.com/privacy) has been designed to discuss the important aspects of how the information you post on Hyphos is used and how we collect information ourselves. Please read the Privacy Policy so you can be an informed user.

Your Posts

Anything you post on Hyphos such as content (including pictures, videos etc.), is owned by you. By posting and displaying content on or through Hyphos, you grant Hyphos a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license (with right to sublicense) to use in any way. This license ends the moment you delete your account, unless the information was shared with someone else on Hyhpos who has not deleted their account. Licensing also ends when content is deleted, however keep in mind that non-public backup copies may exist for a period of time.

Safety

You may not breach any of the security measures in place on Hyphos or try to access, or interfere with non-public portions of Hyphos.

You will not use Hyphos for any unlawful or malicious activity. This includes discriminatory remarks, threats, bullying, harassment, uploading viruses and other malicious code as well as hateful and violent things.
You will not post unauthorized solicitation (spam) on Hyphos. You will not “stalk” or collect user information from Hyphos without the user’s permission.

You will not encourage any safety violations on Hyphos.

Limitations of Liability

In no event shall Hyphos or its suppliers be liable for any damages. This includes without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or those arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on Hyphos's Internet site, even if Hyphos or a Hyphos authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. This also includes any conduct including derogatory, offensive or illegal conduct or content by third parties or other users, or any unauthorized use of your account. Through the websites, events and meetings are facilitated. We do not monitor these meetings and events in anyway, and are not liable for the legitimacy, conduct or people at the meetings. It is important that you exercise good judgment when attending events or meetings.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages. Therefore, these limitations may not apply to you. However, the limitations on liability will be applicable to the fullest extent allowed by applicable law.

Content

Hyphos content and posts by users may include links to third-party websites, videos or photographs. You acknowledge and agree that we are not liable in anyway for the content, products, services, accuracy or availability of these sources. Presence of such links and content in no way represent an endorsement by Hyphos and you agree to accept sole responsibility and assume any risks.

Be nice and respect other people’s rights. Do not post any content that infringes on anyone’s rights or violates copyright law. Hyphos reserves the right to remove any content if we believe it violates copyright laws. If you infringe on others’ rights repeatedly we can disable your account. If you would like to notify us because you believe there is a copyright violation or that your own intellectual property rights have been violated email copyright@hyphos.com.

Governing Law

Any claim relating to Hyphos's web site shall be governed by the laws of the State of California without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

The Hyphos Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy are the entire and exclusive agreement between Hyphos and you regarding the Services. These Terms supersede and replace any prior agreements between Hyphos and you regarding the Services.
